 Accommodation

In all Embassy CES colleges, you have the choice of living with a local family (Homestay), in residential student accommodation, or in local hotels.

In the USA, there is a further bed and breakfast (guest room) option.

In Australia, it is also possible to stay in hostels and lodges.

For accommodation fees, please see our fees page.

Homestay

Share in the daily life and experiences of an English-speaking family: a great opportunity to immerse yourself in local life, and practise your English in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

Included in all Homestay accommodation:

Fully equipped study bedroom

Breakfast and evening meal from Monday to Friday

Breakfast and main meal (lunch or dinner) at weekends

Access to a telephone

Residential student accommodation

For students who would like more independence, and a chance to socialise with friends from around the world. Facilities are modern and bright and have excellent amenities. There are a variety of meal plans including self-catering and in some locations you can make your stay even more comfortable by requesting a room with a private bathroom.

Local Hotels

Embassy CES has negotiated special discounted rates with hotels of various price ranges in many locations; please contact us for details. Alternatively, if you would like to make your own arrangements, we can also provide you with information on other local hotels: please make an online enquiry.

Hostels and Lodges

In Australia, hostels and lodges provide a self-catering experience at a great price. Kitchen facilities are shared, and some lodges offer catering. There is a choice of single or shared rooms with private or shared bathrooms.

For Sydney and Parramatta students we recommend Montpelier House student hostel, a new coeducational student residence catering for Embassy CES, Martin College and Charles Sturt University programs for students at our Darlinghurst Campus.

Montpelier House is located in Elizabeth Bay, which is only 10 minutes by bus or a 20-minute walk from the Darlinghurst Campus or the city. Also, there is easy access to shopping, restaurants, bars and city beaches.
